Part One

With a tiger's stealth she stalked her target. The target, a dark haired male in his mid twenties, this was all she could observe with the lack of lighting in this low ceiling building.

It had been two weeks since her cousin went missing, the authorities were dismissive over the incident saying she was probably another run-away from home - but they didn't know her. I did. I had known her since she lost her first tooth back when we were just kids. She would never run away from home, she wouldn't even leave without informing at least one of us. Her sudden disappearance was out of character for her.

Once I was informed of her disappearance, I had begun a self motivated search for her, which had landed me in this abandoned building in Clyde, a fair distance from the city.
The man stopped moving and turned his head, as if he had sensed someone following him - me. Had he seen me? Assuring himself it was a phantom feeling he continued climbing the stairs before him. I waited silently, wrapped in dust. The smell of petrol was faint but there. Still hidden amongst the empty metal shelves, which had probably been home to oil cans and mechanical tools, I had to decide what to do next. Do I follow this man? or should i return home with what little evidence I had...
